The job I lost
I was employed by a company called Vanguard alarm systems. I was an employee of their competition so I believe I was hired just to be fired. It was not a release due to the fact I couldn't do my job but I wasn't what they were looking for. The owner of this company promised me a managers position in Indianapolis were I could run my own city. This turned out to be a complete lie. I had to go on unemployment and have been for a year. I can not find a job even in my own field. I hold 2 degrees and have found out this doesn't matter.
What it's like being unemployed
Unemployment has been a God send. Even though it doesn't come close to what I made it has at least kept my bills payed. I think God every day for it. Now I'm at the end and can only hope I get the next Tier. With so many people being out of work and can't find jobs we are in essence creating criminals. I will not stand by and watch my children starve while these rich politicians keep lining Their pockets. I am a veteran, served my country in 2 wars and think it's a joke I can't find some decent paying job. I pray I get this Obama extension myself and many of my friends need it. The only real complaint I have is it takes to long to get your money when u switch to the next Tier. You have to wait for some guy in an office to realease your money. Most of us can not wait weeks without money. They need to clear this problem up. Thank you God for watching over me and many people needing this money!!!!
Advice
- I learned there are no jobs!!! You need to find a way to make your own money. Even though you do not have enough money to start your own company try and find the money from friends, family or were ever you can find it. This is truly your only hope. Try and go to school. Take advantage of your time to spend with family and friends.*
