The job I lost
I lost a job for a financing company, which I was in Collections Department. I was told this was part of a company-wide layoff and I would be rehired if they needed the help. Well, I am a 99er, out of unemployment benefits, sent many resumes out, but because of my age have been discriminated against employment. I found out the company hired new people, never got in touch with the people who were laid off... THANKS. I now don't have the money to feed my child, pay my bills, and I have tried everything.
What it's like being unemployed
Well, it stinks. I had to move, my car is going to repo'd, all my bills are in collections, so how do you think I feel? I can't sleep, I have been ill because of the stress... I don't know how much more I can take.
