What Being Fired Has Been Like
For me, when I was told that my services are no longer needed, I was stunned. According to the top management I was a very good employee and I was also told that the organization had higher hopes from me. But, when it happened I was like, I was planning to marry the company because I really liked the work but I learned that I should marry my job not my organization. Now, I am serving my notice period and the behavior of everyone around me has changed suddenly.
Advice
- Keep Calm
- When applying for another jobs, you don't need to mention why you are leaving your current job unless asked.
- Be punctual and disciplined as you were earlier
- Don't badmouth your employer or any of your colleagues
- Stop worrying and be awesome instead and start preparing for your future on a full swing. Cheers! :)
