How Bullhorn Reach Works
For recruiters and hiring managers, Bullhorn Reach provides an easy way to access job seekers on networking websites and track social recruiting outreach. Users can post jobs to social networks and job boards, share job postings with their connections on social networking sites, find and connect with candidates, and keep track of hires.
Recruiters add social networking accounts through the 'Networks' tab of the 'Settings' section of the site available by clicking the link on the upper right side of the page. Then they choose which job boards to post jobs to in the 'Syndication' tab of the same section.
Job Posting
Once the job is posted, when a job posting title is clicked, its own page appears under the 'Jobs' section of the site. This section allows users to add new jobs or review already posted ones. In the 'Review' tab, inquiries are listed first followed by 'potential matches' for the position in the user's network and a list of where the job posting has been published with options to quickly publish the listing to other social networks and job boards (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, SimplyHired, etc.).
Job Edit
In the 'Edit' tab, basic details organized by field about the job listed can be entered or changed and previewed. The 'Promote' tab allows users to post status updates about the job to be published to LinkedIn and/or Twitter that can be previewed. The 'Matches' tab suggests possible qualified candidates for the position based on data from the user's social media networks, listing their names, current positions, and locations. Clicking on a name sends the user to the social networking site on which the user and potential candidate are connected.
Job Tracking
On their dashboard, users see a list of recent jobs they have posted along with statistics of how many posts, inquiries, and views the position has received. There are also tables of all recent inquiries and hires listed by date with full names of interested candidates. On the right panel of the site, users see two graphs - a line graph of page views for the user's site over time and a pie chart of traffic sources (percentages of traffic to the user's site by social media site).
In addition, there's a "Find More Matches on LinkedIn" search (by keyword from the posting) that finds more candidates for the job.
Radar
The Radar section of Bullhorn Reach provides information on network connections who have been changed their profile, received recommendations, or changed jobs and a link to congratulate them or check out the change. It features two tables. 'Potential Movers' lists people in the user's network whose social media behaviors indicate that they may be considering changing employment. The other table lists people who have recently changed companies. Both tables have links to the external social networking profiles through which the Bullhorn user and his or her contacts listed are connected.
Hiring
The 'Hires' section of the site lists the hires a user has made through Bullhorn. After clicking on a position for which a hire was made, a user can review the job's title, location, and industry. The job information can be edited under the 'Edit' tab or promoted via LinkedIn and/or Twitter status update from the 'Promote' tab. Finally, the hire can be verified from the 'Verify' tab, confirming with both the employee and company that the hire has been made with the help of Bullhorn Reach.
Engagement
The 'Engage' section of the site allows users to share links immediately with their social networks under the 'Share' tab (Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn). Users can share job postings, articles, blog posts, and other information with their connections and track how often it has been viewed.
Leader Board
On the right side of the screen, users can view the 'Leader Board' section of the site, a listing of users sorted by points calculated by Bullhorn Reach based on the number of program features used as well as the number of individuals who have viewed a user's listed jobs, shared articles, and profile.
Bullhorn Reach for Job Seekers
For job seekers, with thousands of recruiters and hiring managers using Bullhorn Reach, this means that you can strategically get noticed by sending subtle cues that you're job searching that won't alert your boss, jeopardize your current job, or send up a red flag. For example, if you update your LinkedIn profile, it will show on the recruiter's dashboard.
Bullhorn Reach also has a way job seekers and recruiters can connect directly. Recruiters who use Bullhorn Reach will have a personal profile page, with contact information. Job seekers can search for a recruiter by keyword to find recruiters in their industry.
