Definition: A recruiter is someone who solicits individuals to fill a particular job position. Recruiters often work for an organization’s human resources department. Other recruiters (known as “headhunters”) work for a recruitment agency, and can therefore work for multiple organizations at once.
Recruiters seek out, screen, and interview candidates before presenting them to the client.
