For candidates seeking a local job, you can search within a specific radius of a city or town. Facebook will automatically start with your home location, based on the settings in your Facebook account.
Facebook Marketplace Job Search
The quickest way to search for job is to fill in the section that says "What kind of job are you looking for?" with keywords that match your interest. The location will be preset to a 50 mile radius of a location nearby. For example, searching for "marketing assistant" will generate a list of sales and marketing related job postings in your location.
You can change the location by clicking on the "change" link next to the location.

Facebook Marketplace Advanced Search Options
Job seekers can refine their search results by using Facebook's advanced search options. In the left sidebar, click on category, job title, industry, company, job type, work experience or required education to narrow down the list of job listings.
Facebook Marketplace Notifications
When you're job searching, check the Facebook Marketplace Weekly Friend Update you get automatically from Facebook. You'll be notified when your friends post jobs. You'll also be notified if your friends' friends post jobs. Here's an example of a notification:

Click the link in the email message to get details about the position. If you're interested in applying ask your friend if they can assist with a referral or with more information about the job. Your connections - someone who knows you personally - are a great ways to get referred to an open position.
How to Apply for Facebook Marketplace Jobs
When you find a job posting you're interested in, click on the link next to Seeking: (Job Title). When you click on the link you will go directly to the original site the job was posted on. You'll be able to review more details about the position and, in many cases, apply directly online for the position.
Watch Out for Scams
As with any other job board, watch out for scams. I saw more than a few scams and work at home job postings that weren't legitimate when I was searching to see what types of jobs were available. Here's how to checkout and avoid job scams.
