Quality assurance analysts are in charge of overseeing the quality of a company's operations, with the goal of maintaining (and increasing) customer satisfaction.

Although the job description varies, QA analysts are usually responsible for finding the origins of any problems with day-to-day operations, while also figuring out how to solve those problems efficiently.

For example, a computer software QA analyst would examine, test and keep track of the functioning of a company's software program, and then suggest appropriate updates and trouble-shooting solutions to prevent any problems in the future.

The average salary for a QA analyst is $62,634.
