college Career FairAs high school seniors start thinking about getting started on their applications for college,  one of the important factors to consider is how the choice of a school will impact future employment opportunities.

 The career office and the services it provides is a critical component in ensuring that your long-term outcome will be successful.  You don't need to know what you want to do, but you do need to be sure that your school's career office will help you get there - regardless of the path you choose.

What should you look for as you appraise various colleges and try to determine which schools will provide the best foundation for a future career?  Here's how to evaluate a college career office including career counseling services, job placement, volunteer networks, campus recruiting programs, job shadowing and internship programs, and other career  assistance provided to students and alumni.
