Your phone rings or you get an email invitation to schedule a job interview. Now what? Are you prepared to ace the interview?
The best way to get ready for job interviews is in advance. Have a set of interview clothes ready to wear. Have extra copies of your resume, a list of references, a notepad, and a pen ready to go. The more you do in advance to prepare, the less you'll have to scramble at the last minute.
Take the time to review the common job interview questions you'll be asked and think about how you'll answer them.
Be sure to research the company so you're informed about what the company does and what its goals are. I heard from one job seeker recently who researched the wrong company and didn't realize it until she was in the middle of the interview. That's just one of the things that can go wrong during a job interview.
