Must Have Experience * Low Pay

I always take a quick look at my local newspaper's help wanted ads to get an idea of how many companies are advertising job openings.

This morning, the ad at the top of the classifieds was for an attorney with excellent research and writing skills and litigation experience.  The last line of the ad noted: low pay.  I guess it's good that the firm was upfront about the salary and I'd also guess they will get plenty of applicants regardless of the pay.

If a job seeker has loans to pay back and bills to pay, it can be tough to make ends meet when your salary doesn't cover your expenses.  On the other hand, a paycheck can be better than an unemployment check or no paycheck at all.

What do you think? Is any job better than no job at all? Would you take a job that paid much less than you think you're worth so you'll have some money coming in?
