Glassdoor has released its list of the 50 Best Places to Work for 2012.  Bain & Company ranks #1, taking the top spot from Facebook, which held the #1 slot for 2011.  Bain's CEO Steve Ellis earned an impressive 96% approval rating from employees.

The top 5 places to work include: Bain & Company, McKinsey and Company, Facebook, MITRE and Google.   Here's the entire list of the Best 50 Places to Work from Glassdoor.com.

As far as why employees love working for these companies are a few examples of recent employee comments at the top 3 companies on the 2012 list: Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, and Facebook.

Next time there’s a governmental census I would recommend to anyone that needs some extra cash, and has the time to take on a part time job, join the Census Bureau. It’s not the most entertaining job in the world, but you get paid well to do basic work.
