Casting calls and auditions offer the opportunity for would-be stars to show their talent and gain a spot on reality tv and other television shows, in films, and in theater. American Idol auditions, for example, are held at locations throughout the country. If you're interested in attaining your fifteen (or probably less...) minutes of fame these type of auditions can give you a chance to get it! American Idol auditions for Season 8 have been scheduled. I don’t believe that new auditions have been announced yet. There will be an announcement on the American Idol web site once dates/locations are set.
i would like to know where will be the audition?
This seems to be the popular question. Please let me share some info I have obtained from other blogs. The auditions have not been set yet but they are now saying that there will be one in every state (50). Which will allow them to hear more people, quicker!
I emailed FOX with the question when and where the auditions will be held. They replied “Thank you for your interest. Information about upcoming auditions will be posted on our web site, www.americanidol.com, later this spring. Check back soon for details.” and that’s all they said. Just keep a look out.
is it true that it cost money to audition?…When they post up information for American Idol will they post like EVERYTHING about it, like when, where, what you need to audition and what not?…Sorry so many questions….I’ve just been dyin’ to try-out since the show began, and now I’m finally old enough.
When it’s posted, they’ll have all the details on the web site - including where the auditions will take place and how to get an audition.

I don’t understand why American Idol won’t come to Indianapolis,has birthed many stars such as the Jacksons (Micheal and Janet) they are from Gary, Indiana, John Cougar Mellancamp, Deniece Willams, Heather Headly and many more amazing Superstars. I also know many other talented people who would love to audition. How can we get their attention to come to more cities? I did not even see Chicago, Illinios posted this year because I could travel there. The talent that they may be looking for may be in a place that they never thought to look.
When it says registration starts two days before does that mean you can stand in line two days before the actual audition starts.
You can register (the earlier the better) during either of the two days prior to the auditions. Registration starts at 6 am each day.

Heyy what’s up my name is Emma Cooper I am a 17 year old senior in high school and I would LOVe nothing more than to audition for American Idol. I KNOW I have talent and people are always telling me what a wonderful voice I have and I KNOW that I do as well. Last year I was going to audition but did not want to miss my senior year of high school, so now I am literally pleading for some one to tell me if American Idol will be in St. Louis because he people who in the past have auditioned have been jaw dropping and not in a good way! Some were good a few were OK but a majority of those who auditioned werent so great and I am tired of people making jokes about St. Louis and he lack of talent.
