Management Question

Do you prefer to manage people or ideas? I wasn't sure how to answer this question and I'm sure I didn't do well. I think they were more interested in my management of people but of course I said I would prefer to manage ideas. Needless to say I didn't get the position. I'm not sure if that was the reason why but I'm sure it didn't help sway them towards making me their next employee.

What to say when overqualifed for job

I I am a recent graduate of Medical Billing/Coding, not certified yet. I do have a medical background. I have interviewed for 3 jobs in medical field, that are not Med Bill/Coding; but related to the medical field. What do I say when they ask why I am not going for Med Billing? Which may take over a year to get in that field. Did not get any of the jobs.
