My 4 tips for your CV/resume:
- First, ensure your resume focuses on the *right* audiences, not *all* audiences. When humanly possible, provide a resume that leaves the reader feeling the content was written exclusively for them, and no other. Second, opt for a situation-action-response (SAR) writing style that introduces achievements, along with strong keywords and keyword phrases. Third, write a resume that caters to HR managers and recruiters, yet is effective for those "computer eyes" (resume management systems) too. And finally, don’t be afraid of a daring, slightly unique — yet professional — resume layout. An increasing number of resumes are viewed as soft copies, so jobseekers can add a small bit of flair to help them stand out, without hurting their chances for employment. Regards, @teenarose
