The job I lost

I lost my job in Feb. of 2009. I have spent my entire working life in manufacturing in NJ. My age is 63 and I had to apply and collect SS so that I can hold onto my house and put food on the table. I applied for unemployment benefits in Feb. 2009 and I have two more checks that will take me into the middle of Jan. 2011.

My question is, do I have anymore extensions of unemployment or have I exhausted all my benefits under the latest Federal Unemployment bill that Pres. Obama has signed?

At age 63, employers do not want to hire me because of my age, but find other reasons to tell me. Can u help me!

What it's like being unemployed

I network and follow as many leads as possible to find a suitable job.

Manufacturing is non-existent in NJ for someone like me with experience and knowledge, and a BA in Bus Admin. from the 70-80s.

My unemployment will run out in a couple of weeks.

I guess I'm what they call a 99er.

What's my chances of getting more benefits, and or, what are my options?

Advice
