What it's like being unemployed

So many companies want to do a credit check. When you can't make the bills every month your credit goes to crap and then you can't land the jobs you maybe would have gotten otherwise.

To compete with so many people is hard, too. Not only does it affect me but my family is being affected my - children.

Then congress who is still getting their pay sits and debates over when and how they are going to extend unemployment. I was filing my unemployment every Sunday as I was told to do. I was getting ready to file my first extension. The only thing on the website was to make sure I filed by June 2, which was the deadline.

My regular pay ran out the 23rd of May, which was the last week I filed for it. I had nothing telling me the deadline for the extension was May 29th, so I filed my extension on May 30th, Sunday, like I had been doing. I received a letter showing I qualified.

But when the 6th of June came around and I filed my claim, it said that I did not qualify. So I started calling Monday morning, and then was told I missed the deadline. I cried, just cried. I am really surprised the suicide rate has not gone up. Depression is setting in on so many people, our world, our society is being lost.
