The job I lost
Laid off February 2009 after having 3 pay decreases the year before. I have lost everything worked from the last 40 years.
What it's like being unemployed
Over the last year I have lost everything, its very degrading, depressing, lost health insurance have had heart problems. filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy had no alternative. I look for employment on a daily search and companies just look at you and that's about all the response. I have only had 3 jobs in almost 40 years, I am 60 and I think companies are looking for younger workers they can bring in at a low salary and have the attitude take it or leave it. I would take a job that paid more than employment. The unemployment amount in AZ net amount $237 weekly I have been unable to even find that job. I applied at the census took the test all the paper work it would have been for only a few weeks but I have not heard and have tried to contact for follow up the response we are contacting people. The American people need to clean house in DC and place people in there that care about the Citizens and not there PERSONAL AGENDA The banks, wall street, DC they don't worry but the USA is going down the the TUBES due to the GREEDY!!
Advice
- DON'T RELY ON OUR GOVERNMENT TO HELP THE PEOPLE TO MUCH THEY ARE TO INTERESTED IN PERSONAL AGENDA. VOTE THEM ALL OUT AND START OVER.
