Why I Think It's a Scam
I submitted the information as requested and never heard another word from them. There is NO phone number or contact information. Here is the email: "Hi, Thank you for applying to the available position. We have reviewed many applications and we have narrowed our selection down to five. Congratulations, you are one of the seven applicants we would like to interview at the end of next week! Candidate Qualifications: Energetic, self-motivated individual, excellent communication skills, punctual with strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task and work in fast pace environment. The candidate will need to perform basic administrative duties such as answering phone calls, filing, emailing, and working well with others. We will give more specific details at the interview. Compensation and Benefits: $12 - $16 an hour. Hours are 8:30- 4:30 (1 hour lunch break and 2 15 minute breaks). Medical, dental, vision, disability/life insurance, tuition reimbursement, flex medical spending plan, vacation/sick days and 401K. - MAKE SURE you read the advice from Craigslist and know what the scammers are asking for. I thought I knew enough not to fall for this but when you are desperately looking for a job it is easy to fail to see the bit of information that can prove it is a scam.
