Where I Saw Their Listing, or How They Found Me

Why I Think It's a Scam

I have never had anyone offer me a job working 20 hours a week, for 72,800 annually, without an interview or two or three. They don't really say what you will be doing or where. I sent an email to the address provided trying to get more information and clarity. Believe me I wish I could work 20 hours a week for 72,800 USD annually. The company address is in Spain, the offer doesn't even state USD for the salary.

Advice

  • If it is too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Never sign any employment papers without knowing what you are going to be doing, expectations, who will you report to.
  • Make sure you verify the currency being discussed (especially with companies that are headquartered overseas.
