What Happened During The Interview?
I work for a large catering firm as a chef in a unit where a vacancy occured for a chef manager. I only met the interviewer previously for a few moments. She asked me why I should be given the job, and I told her because the client / customers say that I am settled and they love my cooking. They say I would make a excellent manager. She then called me SMUG and said she does not know if she could work with me. I politely told her that I am confident but not smug. I am only telling you what has been said by many of the customers.
How Did the Interview Turn Out?
She asked me my salary requirements and said she would get back to me by the end of the week as she has five of us to interview. At least it was not a no (not to my face anyway). I felt really unsure as to how well I did. It was the worst interview ever. I was left wondering if she was testing me in someway..

- if you really want the job, keep your calm and answer honestly.
