What Happened During The Interview?
My boss referred a candidate for me to interview. I told my boss that I wasn't sure it was a fit but I wanted to talk to him. About 10 minutes into an interview I realized that the candidate was not right for a sales position. So I asked: What is your interest in this role? My thoughts were confirmed when he answered: "I know what you're trying to do - you're lying to me about this job! I'm calling 911."
How Did the Interview Turn Out?
He stormed out of the building and called 911 and wanted to have me arrested for lying to him. The police did show up and after a brief conversation with the candidate, put him in handcuffs. This interview was with a candidate who was referred to me.
