What Happened During The Interview?

After my first interview which went well, I was called back for a second interview. I was sure that I was the top candidate for the job and for some reason decided not to refresh my interviewing preparations. When I went in, I was tired from working all day, wearing an uncomfortable suit, and forgot key information about the company and my past working history.

How Did the Interview Turn Out?

When finished, I could see the disappointment in their eyes but I was sure I could pull through so I began calling my contact a week after the interview to show how eager I was. She did not respond for 3 months and then left a message to say the position was filled and please stop calling.

Advice

Do not be overconfident. You do not have the job no matter how well you think you did until they offer it to you.
