What Happened During The Interview?
Why is the burden of the interview always put on the applicant? It cuts both ways you jerks. Most of you don't even know what you're looking for and can't write a competent job description! I went to an interview that turned out to be two crazy old women and the one in charge told me I couldn't dress up like that on the job (a plain navy blue suit). I went to one that was supposed to have a panel of 6 and only 4 showed. I knew right then the interview was bogus and they were just filling some HR quota. Get the emphasis where it belongs. BAD EMPLOYERS AND THEIR BAD ATTITUDES AND PRACTICES. POWER MAD INCOMPETENT NUTS!!
How Did the Interview Turn Out?
Obviously, I wasn't hired. Thank God!! I'm absolutely sick to death of crap from employers. There ought to be a website where you can post how horrible it is to work for certain companies by THEIR NAMES and their vile practices on the job. I am sick of being blamed for the horrible, usurous, vile behaviour of employers. They put people out of work and love doing it. There should be a great American WALKOUT. If only the working public would rise up and WALK OFF THE JOB. Film and lit are filled with work horror stories. We laugh and commiserate but NOTHING EVER CHANGES.
Advice
- It's not you. IT IS THEM. In a 30 year work history I have had exactly ONE decent, competent manager. My favorite was the one who thought "management" meant dumping her responsibilities onto others. Or how about the one that wanted me to ask permission before going to the bathroom? Or the one that wanted to get into everyones personal life and business? Or the one that decided to retire and on her way out wrote bad reviews about all of her employees? Most "managers" have absolutely no concept of what that means and no skills for it.
