What Happened During The Interview?
At a job interview there was two sets of for people interviewing me. During the first set I was asked what I could bring to the company which I answered, but they replied the answer was wrong because every says that. The second set asked me if quitting my job and going to another job was stupid. I replied that at the time I felt that It was a good time to switch but after becoming laid off after 14 months because of the down turn it wasn't the brightest thing to due. Another question was if I plan to stay for a while and I said I plan on retiring when I turn 70.
How Did the Interview Turn Out?
I froze up after the question and I was sent a letter saying at this time we won't be hiring you. This was the third interview with this company over a month time. It became so uncomfortable that I could not wait for the interview to be over.
Advice
- Don't show your licence or any thing that tells your age in advance. Don't let groups of interviewers intimate or make you feel uneasy. That's when a person freezes up.
