What Happened During The Interview?
I blew it. That's the only way I can describe it. I was late, I was nervous, my hands were sweaty when I shook hands with the interviewer, and I forgot to bring an extra copy of my resume. I couldn't remember my exact dates of employment at my old company or phone numbers for references. It was embarrassing.
How Did the Interview Turn Out?
Oddly enough, I got called back for a second interview. Maybe because I apologized for my lack of organization? I think I answered the questions okay, so maybe that helped and I am qualified for the job. I was just afraid I would be written off as being flaky.
Advice
- Be prepared.
- Give yourself plenty of time to get to the interview.
- Bring copies of resume and a list of references.
