Why I Was Fired
I missed my flight to work because I was in the hospital. I couldn't call my employer from the hospital because cell phones are prohibited in the hospital. I called my employer as soon as I was released and they said I needed to get the doctor's note before they could book me a new flight to work. Before they even got the doctors note sent to them, I was terminated. Is it just me or does this sound unfair?
What Being Fired Has Been Like
It's not a good feeling getting fired especially when you feel like you've done nothing wrong!! One minute you're comfortable because you're able to pay your bills, and now you can't even feed your kids
Advice
- I don't think is any good advice on getting fired except try to make sure you always have another job to fall back on
