Why I Was Fired
The reasons I was fired, I was still in my probation period at a DME company and I had an issue with the supervisor saying something to me in an offensive manner about my character. I took it up with the HR department and then I was terminated 3 weeks after stating my job performance was not up to standards for what they wanted. Which I find false accusations due to speaking with my supervisor about my job performance and always getting good feedback. So I consider my termination as a retaliation against me for going to HR.
What Being Fired Has Been Like
Well considering I have been unemployed for 4 1/2 years until I was offered this position in customer service, I find it very insulting to my intelligence, humiliating, and very overwhelming. I feel worthless.
Advice
- My advice I guess that sometimes you should not go to HR for support about any thing that is said in a offending way of one's character in hopes that they are going to have your back.
- Never underestimate the egotistical male who's a womanizer.
- Never underestimate higher authority
- Just let things ride out keep you mouth shut, and continue on.
