What Services Does the Company Offer?

KAS Placement is a sales and marketing search firm covering nearly all industries that are B2B or "business to business" sales related and that, at a minimum pay a competitive base salary including benefits.

The industry verticals that we've worked in range across the board from social / digital media to food and beverage to technology. We work with applicants of all ranges from executive level down to 2 to 3 years of experience in the workforce.

KAS Placement is paid by the client and does not charge any applicant fees to utilize our services.

What Makes the Career Service Unique?

Just like any firm in any industry, what makes KAS unique is the people that work here. Some of the qualifications that our recruiters carry include:

- Perfect Verbal SAT Scores

- Masters Degree - Penn State

- Masters Degree - Columbia University

- Writings mentioned in Forbes.com, WSJ.com, USAToday.com, NYTimes.com, Yahoo!, San Francisco Chronicle and many more.

- Interviews by CBS MoneyWatch, O Magazine, Monster.com, FINS.com (WSJ Careers) and more.

- A finalist to potentially be on Jeopardy! this year

Even more important than the above, what makes us truly unique is that we care for both the client and candidate and act with the utmost integrity even if it means foregoing a particular placement. We also work on a retained basis for the most part and our pay is never contingent upon how much the candidate is paid.

We feel that not charging our clients in this manner can potentially hinder the recruiting process and the end salary given to the job applicant.

Tips and Tricks

  • Know that the interviewer is probably just as nervous as you
  • When writing a resume, widen the margins both horizontally and vertically. Since your resume is first read on a computer just like a web page, understand that less than 30% of website readers scroll down when looking at a particular page on the internet. Get as much in as possible on the 1st page.
  • Never use horizontal lines (underlines) on your resume. Doing so cuts the web reader's line of vision off and acts as a stop sign. If you visit NYTimes.com, you will see very few, if any underlines...until they want you to focus on a particular article
