It's a stretch to call Shopbee a company. It used to be a startup, but at this point is just a failure. The "CEO" had been trying to launch for over a year, but he can't keep a cohesive vision and of course cannot get funding. The original team including the lead developer and cofounder have already left. The company model itself sounds like a good idea but is full of holes in reality. If you have money to throw down the toilet, feel free to invest. If you want to get experience working for a failed startup with no compensation for whatever reason, you may consider it. After working with the boss, I quickly realized he was not a leader and that Shopbee would likely not be successful. But I learned how to not let people like him waste any more our my time and effort, and to do a lot more research before getting involved with something like this. Be assured, any positive reviews you read are coming from the boss, one way or another.
