The best thing for you to do is to go and query the CEO. He has very bad reputation every place he has worked. This will give you a clear indication where this company is heading. By the way, I doubt any investor is going to throw his money in trash. So you will work for free and trust me you won't learn anything cause the CEO is just talk. Anyone could start a company on paper and give themselves a title like CEO in matter of a few weeks. This start up has been around for a while (more than few years), you can ask the CEO if he was able to get any funding from investors. Ask him for documents about this. You will see nothing. Go do your math, many of these people start a company having just a simple idea and get delusional about being CEO of a million dollar company. You have to be very careful working for a start up otherwise you waste your time. ShopBee is sure one of them. Ask previous employees.
