Employment Testing

Definition: There are several types of employment tests that candidates for employment may be asked to take. Tests can include aptitude, skills, literacy, personality, medical, and drug tests. In addition, employers may perform a background check to verify your work history and credentials.

Hiring can be contingent upon passing pre-employment tests and screenings.

Examples:
Before Marielle was hired she had to take an appitude test. In addition, passing a pre-employment drug screening test was required prior to the employer making a job offer.
