Before You Buy Interview Attire

Before you buy interview attire, it's important to consider which style of clothing will work best to project a positive image for you.  All styles don't suit all people. What looks wonderful on a fashion model, might look awful on you. The best way to find out what works for you is to peruse magazines, visit fashion and clothing web sites, and attend fashion shows presented by social and professional organizations. Major department stores often offer a "personal shopper" program and there are image consultants who can provide color and style consultations.

Dress for Success
The traditional rules of interview dress, are still the best rules - simple and conservative.  Your interviewing wardrobe should consist of the basics, a  solid color, conservative suit with a coordinated shirt or blouse, moderate shoes, and a portfolio or briefcase.
