America's Job Bank to Cease Operations:

Effective July 1, 2007 America's Job Bank has ceased operations. Site visitors will be sent to a list of State Job Banks including and to a list of private sector job banks and portals including America's Job Exchange.

America's Job Bank (also known as America Job Bank or AJB) connects job seekers to national job openings and to the state job banks.

America's Job Bank: Search Options:

Use the America Job Bank: Quick Search to search by category, keyword and location. Use AJB's Advanced Search to refine your search by job title, keyword, Military Occupation Code or Job Number. AJB registered users can apply online for selected positions, print jobs and save job postings to their AJB My Account section.

America's Job Bank: Resume Posting:

Registered users can create and post a resume online, create a cover letter and manage their America Job Bank account. The AJB Express Resume service imports information from your profile and provides options for selecting postions you are interested in applying for. AJB registered users can apply online for job openings and track their applications, or apply directly to employers using the contact information in the job posting.

Cover Letters:

Save up to five different cover letters in your America's Job Bank account to send with your resume when applying for a job.

America's Job Bank: Career Info Net:

America's Job Bank: Career Info Net provides information on wages and employment trends, occupational requirements, state by state labor market conditions, as well as listing millions of employer contacts and career resources.

America's Job Bank: Contacts and Personal Links:

Use AJB's Contact Manager and Personal Links services to keep track of employers and networking contacts, as well as company web sites and web sites where you have applied for positions.

AJB Additional Resources:

Set up an AJB Search Scout to have new openings emailed to you, read career information, salary statistics, find employers and locate local services include OneStop Career Centers. The America's Job Bank OneStop Career Center information includes services provided to job seekers, hours, maps and driving directions.
