Where Can I Find Employment Services?

By Alison Doyle, About.com

Question: Where Can I Find Employment Services?

Answer: Employment services including job placement, career guidance, job training, employment resources, unemployment insurance and other job services are provided by State Department of Labor offices. Most states provide both online and in-person assistance at local Employment Services offices.

Enter your address and zip code into America's Service Locator and you will get a list of the closest employment services ranging from One-Stop Career Centers to child care providers and transportation. Driving directions are also available. Workers who need jobs, additional skills, or related workforce information can also get information via phone by calling 1-877-US-2JOBS.
