You have applied for a job, you may, or may not, have a phone or in-person job interview scheduled and then the company asks you to fill out a pre-interview questionnaire.

What's involved and how do employers use the information they receive? Pre-interview questionnaires are used by employers to get further information about a job applicant prior to a job interview.

You may need to provide some of the same information that is on your resume and the job application you submitted. You may also be asked questions related to your background, your skills, your experience, your salary requirements, and your availability for work.
