nullLooking for a part time job? Interested in a flexible schedule? Running out of unemployment? Want to earn some extra money for the holidays? Now is the time to be job searching, because companies are hiring for the holiday season.

For example, the Holiday section of Macy's Career Center is recruiting holiday workers for sales, store operations, call centers and distribution and fulfillment centers. Target is hiring seasonal workers for both stores and distribution centers, with plans for hiring about 70,000 seasonal workers. A quick way to get information on Target jobs is to text Jobs and your email address to Target (827438).

Other retailers are gearing up for holiday hiring, too. Kohl's is looking for 50,000 people. Walmart is adding 55,000 extra employees, as well as moving some temporary employees to part-time and part-time workers to full-time.

UPS hires for seasonal package delivery driver positions, as well as for package handlers, providing an opportunity to earn extra cash for the holidays. There are "immediate hire" positions open at UPS for package handlers and driver helpers. Amazon is hiring 70,000 full-time seasonal workers this year.

There are just some of the companies that are hiring workers for the holiday season. How can you find out who's hiring? It's easy to search for and apply for seasonal jobs online.

In-person job applications are also accepted by many companies, especially smaller retailer. Take a walk through the mall and you'll see help wanted signs in store windows.
