Resume SkillsWhat should you - and shouldn't you - include in the skills section of your resume?  What's important when listing your skills on your resume is to consider relevancy.  What skills do you have that show you are qualified  for the jobs for which you are applying?

A resume skills section should include your skill set, which includes your abilities that are related to the jobs you are applying for.

Also incorporate your skills into resume as keywords to enhance your chances of getting selected for an interview.  Take the time to customize your resume for each job and include skills that are relevant to the position / career field that you are interested in i.e. computer skills, software skills, and/or language skills.

Also, if the job listing includes information on the desired mindset for the job, consider including information on your mindset as it relates to the job description,  as well.
