Networking isn't as hard as you might think - it's just a matter of working your job search in the conversation at the appropriate time. In fact, a party is a terrific way to mix business with pleasure and to take advantage of an opportunity to boost your job search or career.
Most people are happy to help, but they can't help if they don't know that you're actively job hunting.
