It's important that teens applying for jobs dress professionally, to impress their potential employers and convey themselves as mature, responsible, and ready to work.

Unfortunately, the clothes you might wear everyday to the mall, or out with friends, usually aren't suitable for an interview. To show you what should be avoided on an interview, here are examples of what not to wear on a job interview.

When you apply for teen job, dress should be, at the least, neat and tidy. For example, khakis and a neat polo shirt work well. Your shoes should be moderate and you should avoid extreme hairstyles or colors. Also, keep makeup and perfume to a minimum. Don't even consider wearing flip-flops or sneakers!

Here's appropriate teen job interview clothes and what wear when applying for a job.
