Social recruiting can be unwieldy - both for recruiters who are managing multiple sources of candidates for employment and for job seekers who are trying to get found by hiring managers.
Bullhorn Reach has simplified the social recruiting process by providing a single platform to manage social recruiting.
For recruiters and hiring managers, Bullhorn Reach provides an easy way to access job seekers on networking websites and track social recruiting outreach. Recruiters can post jobs to social networks and job boards, share job postings with their connections on social networking sites, find and connect with candidates, and keep track of hires.
For job seekers, with thousands of recruiters and hiring managers using Bullhorn Reach, this means that you can strategically get noticed by sending subtle cues that you're job searching that won't alert your boss, jeopardize your current job, or send up a red flag. For example, if you update your LinkedIn profile it will show on the recruiter's dashboard.
In addition, Bullhorn Reach provides a way for job seekers and recruiters to connect directly. Recruiters who use Bullhorn Reach will have a personal profile page, with contact information. Job seekers can search for a recruiter by keyword to find recruiters in their industry.
Art Papas, founder and CEO of Bullhorn, says "For candidates, putting a resume on a job board means risking their current position. Recruiters are on the other end trying to reach qualified people before they get scooped up. Bullhorn Reach solves that problem. We have a feature called Radar that identifies potential job seekers, often before they send out a single resume. It also helps talented professionals connect with great opportunities without broadcasting their intentions."
The key, from both the hiring side and the job search side, is to be as connected as possible. That means, at the least, having a solid and complete LinkedIn profile, including experience, skills, education, and recommendations, and a strong network of connections on LinkedIn. At best, as time permits, work on building a professional network on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
In addition, for job seekers, these types of tools mean that you can't ignore social networking, especially when almost 90% of companies are using social recruiting, and you need to take your job search social.
Bullhorn Reach is free for life to users who sign up now. Here's more on the Bullhorn Reach social recruiting platform.

No advanced Search / No Dates on posting – not helpful
The search function for job seekers on this page is very rudimentary. There is no advanced search. There is no way to see how old the job postings are. You can’t order the results. This doesn’t have a lot of value to me as a job seeker. I haven’t found a single listing or contact on here that I haven’t been able to find elsewhere.
The job postings have no date. It’s not just that you cannot sort by the date but there is no date on the any of the detailed postings I have seen at all. So when looking at an opportunity you don’t know how old it is. Dates are pretty elementary data element.
I would say this site has a LOT of room for improvement. Updating the search features would be a great start. In this day and age to not have an advanced search feature is embarrassing at best. I would start with something simple, like posting dates. Jeez.
Finally, I don’t see anywhere on the site to leave feedback. Guess they aren’t interested in hearing from job seekers.
Not the site for me. Thanks.
