I don’t believe that new auditions have been announced yet. There will be an announcement on the American Idol web site once dates/locations are set.

This seems to be the popular question. Please let me share some info I have obtained from other blogs. The auditions have not been set yet but they are now saying that there will be one in every state (50). Which will allow them to hear more people, quicker!

I emailed FOX with the question when and where the auditions will be held. They replied “Thank you for your interest. Information about upcoming auditions will be posted on our web site, http://www.americanidol.com, later this spring. Check back soon for details.” and that’s all they said. Just keep a look out.

is it true that it cost money to audition?…When they post up information for American Idol will they post like EVERYTHING about it, like when, where, what you need to audition and what not?…Sorry so many questions….I’ve just been dyin’ to try-out since the show began, and now I’m finally old enough.

I don’t understand why American Idol won’t come to Indianapolis,has birthed many stars such as the Jacksons (Micheal and Janet) they are from Gary, Indiana, John Cougar Mellancamp, Deniece Willams, Heather Headly and many more amazing Superstars. I also know many other talented people who would love to audition. How can we get their attention to come to more cities? I did not even see Chicago, Illinios posted this year because I could travel there. The talent that they may be looking for may be in a place that they never thought to look.

When it says registration starts two days before does that mean you can stand in line two days before the actual audition starts.

You can register (the earlier the better) during either of the two days prior to the auditions. Registration starts at 6 am each day.

It just seems everytime i go to the website looking for the answers i cant find what im looking for. i knw they are starting to get down to the wire on contestants so more than likely i’m sure the auditions should be soon. but i just cant find out WHEN AND WHERE. please please help me. music is literally my life, and having such a hard life as i have music was my only outlet so this is very important to me.

If my friend & I both want to audition, (we are 16) do we need two adults to accompany us, or can we have the same one?

I’m a 13 year old girl and just wanna go on there to show them what I got! Do u think I have the guts to do it?

I would audition I mean I’ve been told I got the talent and the skill but I’d wait until I got some extra practice in got some advice,and you know take the time to really work on my vocals and think about what I’d be giving up I mean c’mon! Once your a star you sign a deal for life! Because you can’t visit home without being followed by the paparazzi or sleazy journalists and your family wouldn’t even be allowed to sleep without being harassed 24/7! I mean seriously? And plus if you liked the way you sounded your record company will most likely want to change it I mean just look what they did to Usher! A small town good Christian choir boy discovered and they made him into a POP and RAP sensation! So I’d seriously think about what you’re giving up…I mean if Angelina Jolie hadn’t gotten discovered her kids probably would live a normal life. And lastly don’t forget that when your a star you most likely will lose sight of what’s really important the music,that’s what broke up KISS because they were to busy fighting over who got paid more So just remember this.
