Coping with being unemployed can be really hard. It's very difficult not only in regard to finances and how you are going to pay the bills, but also from an emotional perspective.  Job loss is on the list of the top most stressful life events and it's really tough when you lose your job.

Reading other people's stories about coping with unemployment can not only help you realize that there are people experiencing the same problems, feelings, and difficulties as you are, but can also help you pick up suggestions that may make coping with being unemployed a little easier.

Sharing your story on what you have done to cope with being unemployed will be really helpful for others who are in the same situation and there are way too many people who are out of work and running out of options.

On a related note, here's information on where to get help when your unemployment checks run out, including federal and state government assistance, local organizations which may be able to help, and where to find job search assistance.
