i am just wondering if the families living along the oil affected areas will receive any compensation. regardless of the loss of work or not. we are living in an unsafe area due to the toxicidy of the oil that is in our waters and air.
sorry bp doesnt care
file a claim – you have lost Earning capacity at the very least due to economic downturn – all they can do is say no. many companies have halted, hiring, promotions, raises, bonus money – you may be eligible for a wages/ inflation claim which is 3% or so
I think BP need’s to investigate the claim’s a little better. I see people getting 30 to 40,000 dollars and more that weren’t affected by the spill but some of the people who really were affected by the spill and only asking for a small amount that they actually lost are getting denied. I know people that only received a licsense to operate a charter fishing boat about a month before the spill that are raking it in from BP and they had never had a paying customer before.
