There are lots of good job sites and there are some really bad job sites, too.    Some sites provide current, relevant job listings.  Others don't.

Do you have a favorite job site or is there a job site you think is the worst ever?  We'd like to know what you think - great, good, bad, really bad, or worst.

Here's how to review a job site and add the sites you've had success with -  and those you haven't - to the list of job site reviews.

Very interesting comments in regard to good and bad job boards. I for one have yet to find a job board worth salt…. Too many phony postings and too few companies that bother responding to applicants. There has to be a better way.

I feel the same way, the job search boards are out of control, too much speculative stuff, “fake” postings, no responses. I like using Indeed, because it sifts through the rabble to give me at least some semblance of positions that are at least, close to matches and usually “real”.

I also like Indeed. Although it often has multiple listing for one job, you can usually tell which one is the one posted by the employer. I also have liked their job alerts which are easy to use, easy to set up AND easy to take down when a specific one wasn’t working.

I know what you guys mean. Its pretty difficult to tell now days what types of jobs are fake or real. I like Doostang thats also a good one. They have hand selected jobs from the leading employers. Their job listings usually come from the HR or the company directly.

Fair warning: Doostang is a scam. They require that you “recruit” 20 other people before you can look at and apply to listings.

I think CareerBuilder has gone down hill a good bit, but still has some useful listings. I like JobCentral even though it gets talked about very little.
