Job searching is harder than it's ever been and it's not just because there are so many job sites out there and it's hard to know which ones are the best to use. It's also really hard to weed through the job listings to find jobs to apply to that are a good fit. UpMo has released its Intelligent Job Search Tool which is designed to take the guesswork out of job searching.

What UpMo does is using scientific algorithms (the same concept Google, Bing and the other search engines use to bring you results that match what you're looking for) to match you with job opportunities based upon your skills, your career path, and your goals.

UpMo is offering a ten day free trial. After the trial it's subscription based, starting at $6.99 month. In my opinion, any job site you have to pay for has to give you really good results. That's because if you have the time, and you search carefully using the advanced search options, you can find just about every job listed online using the job search engines. That said, given than you can try it free, see how it works for you and decide if the results are worth the expense.

As an extra incentive to use the service, UpMo CEO Promise Phelon will be available for two 30-minute consultations with UpMo members to discuss their careers and/or job search. For a chance to win, activate the Twitter Broadcast feature in your profile and mention @upmo when you tweet.

I'm interested in hearing from job seekers who have tried UpMo. Post a comment (below) and let me know what you think.

To find the right job, the job seeker must be the right fit. So then we must dive deeper, and reflect on ourselves first. Peep out ResumeRace.com, where people in the same field as you rate your resumes and cover letters.
