LinkUpNeed to find job listings fast? A job search engine is a really good way to find job listings fast. LinkUp searches thousands of small, mid-sized, and large company career sections, so you're getting job postings direct from company web sites.

Other job search engines, like SimplyHired.com and Indeed.com, search millions of jobs posted on company sites, job sites, and newspapers by keyword, location, and type of position.

Check out Advanced Search, too. You can narrow your criteria even more and search for jobs by company, work requirements, education level, and other options. The job search engines also have additional resources to help you job search, including salary information, widgets, and plugins for your browser. All of which can help you target your job search and get right to the job postings that are a match for your skills and experience.

Good stuff here Alison.

Regarding LinkUp and services like them that claim to search private company job websites, what I’ve noticed is that a lot of companies are using a package from a company called Taledo to manage their job openings. With this software (and others), users have to specify search criteria, instead of the postings appearing as a list of “open positions” on a static HTML page.

How do LinkUp access THOSE opportunities, IF they do at all?
