Saturday February 14, 2009
Layoffs, are unfortunately, in all the news. It seems like there are more companies laying off more employees every time you turn around. What should you do if you lose your job? It's certainly not easy. These are difficult times and getting by on severance, if you're lucky enough to get a severance package, and unemployment, if you're eligible, is a challenge.

Here are strategies and suggestions for surviving a layoff from About.com's Guide to Human Resources, Susan Heathfield, About.com's Guide to Career Planning Dawn Rosenberg McKay, About.com's Guide to Financial Careers Mark Kolakowski, and myself.
