Top New Job Search Sites

Thursday June 19, 2008
VisualCV There are times when it seems like the employment sector is saturated with new jobs sites and those who create them have run out of new and different ideas for job seekers. This year has been an exception. So far, and we're not even half way through the year yet, there are good new sites that you should be using to expedite your job search.

VisualCV provides an online resume that includes all the facets of a traditional resume, with add-ons like video, images, and links to your accomplishments.

One Day One Job is a site every recent college graduate should be using. It's not a traditional job search site. Instead, you'll find detailed information on a particular job opening, along with company information and links to more resources to help you research the opportunity.

Also, for the younger job seeker, MyFirstPaycheck.com has job postings and job search resources just for teens looking for their first job, including a resume builder that's quick and easy to use.

RealMatch takes your skills and qualifications and matches them up with with jobs posted by employers. Which can save you job searching time.

For researching employers, visit Glassdoor.com, where you will find company reviews, ratings, company information, salaries, CEO approval rating, competitors, content providers, and more.

We'll have to wait and see what the rest of year brings as far as new resources for job seeker, but, so far, we're off to a good start.
