The Worst Jobs in the World
This must be the week for different types of jobs. I wrote about cool jobs the other day and watching
Keith Olbermann's Worst Person in the World last night started me thinking about the opposite kind of jobs - the worst jobs in the world.
You can find lots of jobs online that seem pretty nasty. Sewer diving in Mexico City and India - among other locations, seems to rank highly as a worst job. BBC News has a long list of worst jobs, including cat food quality control, chasing monkeys at a safari job, clinging dung in chicken farms, a terribly boring office job, and working in a financial call center. Then there is, of course, the Discovery Channel show Dirty Jobs. Many of those jobs make me cringe at the thought of having to do them. Dirty Jobs has a quiz you can take to see which (if any) dirty job might suit you.
Do you have a worst (or dirty) job or do you know about any that are terrible? If so, comment (below) or in the Forum and let me know what it is and what makes it so bad.

This doesn’t sound so bad until you have to do it - my summer job cleaning hotel rooms was definitely a dirty job.
