Razumé

Sunday February 10, 2008
Is your resume as perfect as it could be? Are you sure? If not, there's a new service where you can post your resume (privately) and get feedback. Razumé provides a fast and easy way to collect valuable feedback on your resume. It's a web-based resume review platform where users anonymously post, rate, and review resumes.

I think it's always helpful to have your resume reviewed by a third party, because it's hard to find your own mistakes or to see how your resume could be rephrased or formatted a little differently.

If you give it a try, please let me know what you think by commenting below or emailing me. I'm interested in what you thought of the feedback and whether the review was helpful. Thank you!

Razume is not ready for prime tmie. I could not get it to work. I tried submitting my resume several different ways only to get a message that the system is still unstable. Unfortunately, one cannot find out that this is not working until they create a PDF which requires you to download software. I need advice that will not waste my time. Rezume sounds like a great idea, but was created by people who do not seem to have any real technical capabilities.

I think Razume is a fantastic site. I uploaded my resume, asked a question, and got a personal response that very same day. The feedback that I received from members not only helped me to improve the format and language on my resume, but it also reminded me of some experience that I have that I had not thought to put on my resume. I would reccomend it to any job seeker who needs another set of eyes on their resume!
